Freya was a witch and the youngest daughter of Joanna and Victor, the younger sister of Ingrid and the twin sister of Frederick.

Granddaughter to King Nikolaus, she was a Princess of Asgard.

BiographyEdit

When she was born precisely remains unknown, since Ingrid and Freya are reincarnations of themselves, but it is likely that she has lived for a long time in Asgard along with her family: her mother Joanna and her father Victor; her older sister Ingrid and her twin brother Frederick; her aunt Wendy; and her granfather, Nikolaus, as well. Back in the days, Freya shared a very deep bond with Frederick and their bond only strenghtened their magic, allowing them to astral project whenever they wanted or whenever Freya asked to see the beach.[1] This earned her the title of Traveller, in the Occult History of Sorcery book.

However, a war soon erupted in Asgard when it became obvious that King Nikolaus was getting corrupted by the power of the Serpens Clavem, and even the Beauchamps took part in the fight and sided against the King. The war was soon lost by the opponents of the King and the Beauchamps tried to escape the patriarch's wrath by crossing a Portal to Earth. But their escape was thwarted by Frederick's treason and the mad King then cursed all of the Beauchamp women for their betrayal. Wendy, in a final effort, managed to cut the key from the King's arm and to seal the Portal afterwards, cutting away Freya from her beloved twin brother.[2]

Freya's curseEdit

When they escaped Asgard, the King cursed all of the Beauchamp woman, Freya included.

Freya's curse is two-folded. On the one hand, she is "gifted" with the power of reincarnation, which means that everytime she dies, her mother will give birth to her again to bring Freya and Ingrid back for a whole new cycle. But, on the other hand, Freya's curse also makes that she can never live past the age of thirty and have a long happy life with lover and children.

PowersEdit

Freya, as a member of the Beauchamp family, is an extremely powerful witch. Among her most proeminent abilities, Freya's extra-developed sixth sense comes off as a defining trait. Indeed, she is able to sense when something bad is about to happen or when people approach her, to read auras, and to see the future, in dreams or as clear visions.

However, Freya's main asset comes from the relationship with her twin brother, Frederick, as the two of them combined are able to do things they can't on their own, such as astral projection.

NotesEdit

  • Frederick and Freya may have had some sort of incestuous relationships, seeing as how he is jealous of Killian and how he wants her back in Asgard so badly.

Freya Beauchamp was a witch living in Salem during the infamous Salem Witch Trials. It was one of her first reincarnations on Earth after the curse.

BiographyEdit

Now trapped on Earth after the Portal was closed, and with the threat of her grandfather back in Asgard, Freya had no choice but to start a new life with her parents, her sister and her aunt. But due to the Curse put on them by their grandfather, Freya and Ingrid were bound to die before their thirties and to be reborn soon after, lives after lives.

The earliest life that we have traces of dates back to 1692 Salem, where Freya and Ingrid were burnt at the stake after Vidar denounced them to the Puritans, thinking that the sisters were so reckless in their use of magic that they endangered the secrecy of the Witches.[3]

Freya Beauchamp was the reincarnation of the Salem Freya.

BiographyEdit

This incarnation of Freya was born around 1694, after her previous death in the Salem Witch Trials. At the age of 10, Freya was seen using her powers over nature to create a tornado of sand on the beach, under Joanna's guidance.[4]

As mentioned by Wendy, 300 hundred years from today, there was no cure for Ramus Mortium, and when Freya came into contact with the silvery substance, she suffered from a slow and painful death.[5]

Freya Beauchamp from the 1800s was the one of the many incarnations of the Argardian Freya Beauchamp.

BiographyEdit

This Freya was born sometime in the 1820s and was raised by her mother Joanna and her aunt Wendy. But this time around, her father did not live with the Beauchamp family, as he felt unable to see his daughters die and be reborn again and again because of the curse.[6]

Working as a bartender and an "entertainer" at the Cat & Shadow with her family, one day she unknowingly met Edgar Allan Poe and read his future in the cards, predicting him chance, wealth and true love. Quickly, they both fell in love and she later broke the Witches code, telling him she was a witch. Knowing this, Poe found inspiration, started writing about her and their love and earned massive recognition for his work. Still, the two of them were really happy but Edgar's inspiration started to run out, and he became desperate and started drinking.

Concerned for him, Freya decided to help him find new sources of inspiration by doing a séance. However, the spirit Freya called for turned out to be evil and possessed her, and even though Edgar had seemingly chased it away, it had in fact remained inside of Freya. Ambrose Bancroft, using Freya's body and powers, went on a mission to cleanse the town of all its sinners. After the third murder, Poe decided to warn the Beauchamps and when he did, Wendy went to stop her niece. She was yet taken by surprise and Bancroft magically snapped her neck, taking one of her lives. Later, possessed Freya was called into the woods by an enchanting song, which turned out to be the result of Joanna and Ingrid's spell. Using the Anima Aucupe, a soul-catcher, Joanna sucked Ambrose's spirit out of Freya directly into hell; killing Freya in the meantime.[7]

Freya Beauchamp (1875)Edit

Not much is known about this incarnation of Freya, except that she was the reincarnation of the 1848 Freya. Probably born around 1849 or 1850, leaving some time for Joanna to give birth to Ingrid and then get pregnant with Freya, this version of Freya died in 1875 when she got impaled in the middle of the party of her twenty-fith or twenty-sixth birthday party.[8]

Unfortunately, when Ingrid was killed accidentaly by Wendy in 1906, it triggered the girls's curse and Freya died the following morning in the Great Earthquake of 1906, leaving Henry all alone.[9]

The former incarnation of Freya was born some time between the late 1940s and early 1950s, and got to experience the folly of the seventies.

BiographyEdit

Freya was reborn in the early 1950s and got a chance to play with her wild side, as part of a drug-dealing tandem with her boyfriend, Dan, who had a club built only for her with the money they made from their business. However, she fell in love with Bobby, a bartender at the Gossip, and began having a secret affair with him.

Tired of using magic to deal drugs, Freya went to her mother to tell her she was leaving Dan and was about to move to California with Bobby. There, she met Alex, a friend of her mother, who read her palm and claimed that, because Bobby and Freya were star-crossed, the two of them never ended living hapily ever after, and never would. She left her mother's house angry and went to find Bobby, only to see him be shot dead by Dan in the middle of the club.[11]
